The chess club runs from the beginning of school until June. Students are welcome to join the chess club at any time. We meet during lunch period, every day in the library. We share and practice chess strategies. The club has competed in individual and team tournaments at various schools. Eastdale hosted the first speed chess tournament in the DSBN, which proved to be a great success with a total of 55 students from a number of schools participating. Being involved in this club is a great way to improve your skills and build comradery.
