Track and Field is the ultimate individual sport that also brings athletes together in a fun and supportive team environment. The training might be grueling at times, but it allows an athlete to focus intently on developing their raw speed, power, flexibility and endurance. Cross sport athletes are welcome to train with the team to get more specialized speed or jump coaching that gives them an athletic edge. Training season typically begins in February and progresses athletes towards their peaks in practice and official meet competitions during Spring. All students are welcome to train with the team even if they are not interested in competitions.
