Summer School
applications are now available in Guidance.

Talent Show on May 31 from 5-7 pm: If you have a talent that you would like to share at our talent show this year, please sign up in the Guidance office.

Attention Grade 11 and 12's :
Are you looking for volunteer hours? If so, on Sunday, May 27, there will be a Guide Dog Walk at Memorial Park. If you are interested, please Miss Penny in Guidance.

Girls' Softball-
Are you interested in participating in girls softball in May? Please sign up outside the gym on the Eagles Sign Up Board.

Attention: All band and choir members-
Music Monday is 4 weeks from today. Choir will be rehearsing "Dream On" at lunch. Band will receive the Music Monday repertoire at practice tonight-Monday,
April 9th.

Boys' soccer  
tryouts will be on Thursday after school. Be prepared to go outside. If you can't make the practice, please let Mr. McGuchan know. We need 16 players at the practice if we are going to have a team.

Prom Project Niagara: Need an outfit for prom or graduation? Select the perfect outfit for free on Saturday, April 21st. A bus will pick up students at Eastdale at 10:30 and students will be dropped off at the school at 1:20. There is no charge for the bus. Please sign up for transportation at the office.

PromAttention Seniors! Prom has officially been announced. Eastdale is hosting Prom on May 26 from 6-10 pm at Casa Dante on Lincoln Street. Once the completed form is returned to the office, tickets can be purchased for $35.00 each.

Youth and Vaping Information Session:
This presentation will be held on Thursday, April 19 from 5:30-7:30 pm at Niagara Region Public Health in Thorold. To register, please contact roberta.santin@niagararegion.ca

Chess:
The next Chess Tournament will be held at the Pen Centre in St. Catharines on April 13. Get a permission form from Mr. Calford and return it with $5.00 to secure your spot on the bus.

Solo sign up sheets for the spring concert are posted on the music room door. You can sing, play an instrument, etc... More information is posted on the door.

Musical Theme Club: This club will rehearse next week after school on Tuesday and Thursday this week.
The school band rehearses after school today.
The school choir rehearses today at lunch.

CODING: Are you interested in computer programming A.K.A. Coding? Eastdale has a coding club at lunch in room 79. Come and learn at your own pace and develop your skills!. Speak to Mr. Calford for more details.

OPEN MIC WEDNESDAYS
: Please go to the Library at lunch to entertain or to be entertained!

POLICING: Any female student interested in Niagara Policing should go to the Guidance office for more information.

GUIDANCE:  Any student interested in being a part of the 2018-2019 Minister's Advisory Council go to Guidance for more information.

DANCE TEAM:  Meets every Wednesday after school ay 2:30 in Mrs. B's room.

SCHOOL NURSE:  Mrs. Burns, the school nurse is here Monday mornings and all day Wednesday.  Fill out an appointment card found in guidance or drop by if the door is open.

LIBRARY: Feature film DVDs are now available in the Library. Open Mic Sessions are every Wednesday at lunch.

GAMES CLUB: Will be held on Thursdays in Room 50 (Art Room) at lunch.  New members are welcome.

ART CLUB:  Will be held in room 50 Tuesdays at lunch.

LUNCH PROGRAM:  Available everyday in Guidance.

YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE:  One 3-hour meeting per month.  For more info contact Lauralee Remollino at 905-688-8248 ext.7344   lauralee.remollino@niagararegion.ca    These meetings can be put toward your community service hours.
