Welcome to Eastdale Secondary School, home of the Eagles! Our school offers a wide range of programming to students of all ability levels. After graduation, our students head off to university, college, apprenticeship or work. We offer comprehensive academic, arts, music, athletic and technology programs. Specialist High Skills Majors are offered in Hospitality, Manufacturing and Automotive. In an SHSM, students complete additional industry training and certifications and graduate with a Red Seal diploma.
Our students refer to Eastdale as a “family” and our staff works diligently to educate and nurture the young people entrusted to our care. We are charged with the task of helping our students to become respectful and responsible life-long learners. To help our students achieve, we have invested in a variety of cutting edge technology. Our students have SMART boards, netbooks, e-readers and I-Pads to assist in their learning. Through courses, co-op placements, teams and clubs, they develop the skills necessary for 21st century learning and living.
Our small size, dedication to student success and safe and welcoming environment (2010-2011 Premier’s Safe School Award Winner) all serve to make Eastdale an awesome school.
